Business Owner Achieves Success in One Day

I received a telephone call from a friend and business owner who had read the blog "An Inhibitor of High Performance".  After reading the blog he noticed for the very first time how many thoughts entered his mind that had nothing to do with what he was working on.  He made a decision to ignore the distracting thoughts and stayed focused on the task at hand.  At the end of the day he was amazed at how much he had accomplished as a result of disciplining himself by ignoring the mental interruptions.

If you have not, I strongly suggest you reread the blog and practice it for one full day.  The first ten people to comment on their success will receive a complimentary success consultation valued at $350.00.

COMMENTS

It is ironic the protagonist in the article "An Inhibitor of High Performance" is also named John. I have had hectic days like this. Al clearly points out that days like these are of our own making. This article along with the post on "Focus" have severly pointed out how much interruptions and interrupting thoughts impede performance, productivity and create a chaotic day. I have since gone through great lengths to practice focusing on the moment and the task at hand. It isn't easy because each task is related to another task or project and it is all to easy to drift into thinking about those areas.

Since I have been practicing focusing only on the immediate task of the moment,I have experienced less anxiety and stress in addition to getting more accomplished in less time.
